Data Deletion Instructions for VMWeb and VMHub Facebook Integration

Last updated: May 16, 2026

Overview

VMHub's Facebook integration uses Facebook's oEmbed API solely for embedding public Facebook posts on our websites. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from Facebook users.

What Data We Access

Our integration only accesses publicly available information through Facebook's oEmbed API:

  • Public post content and metadata
  • Post thumbnails
  • Author display names (as shown publicly on Facebook)

This information is temporarily cached for performance purposes and automatically expires within 24 hours.

Data Deletion

Since we do not store any personal user data from Facebook, there is no personal data to delete. However, if you would like us to:

  • Remove an embedded post from our websites
  • Clear any cached oEmbed data related to your public posts

Please contact us using the information below.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request removal of embedded content or cached data:

  1. Send an email to info@vmweb.cz
  2. Include the URL(s) of the Facebook post(s) you want removed
  3. Provide any relevant context about your request

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm the deletion via email.

Automatic Data Removal

If you delete your Facebook post or change its privacy settings to non-public:

  • Our cached data will automatically expire within 24 hours
  • The embed will no longer display on our websites
